Cynthia, originally from Mexico, has been a resident of Mount Vernon, Washington for over 35 years. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Management, is a Washington State Certified Interpreter and a longtime advocate for language access and equitable services in her community. Having experienced firsthand the challenges families can face when navigating systems across languages and cultures, Cynthia has dedicated more than 20 years to helping Spanish-speaking individuals and families access information, resources, and opportunities. As a Washington State DSHS Certified Spanish Interpreter, professional translator, and Notary Public, she is passionate about empowering others, strengthening community connections, and ensuring that language is never a barrier to being heard, understood, or supported.
